This policy describes how Addrenaline ("the app", "we", "our") handles information when you download and play it. Addrenaline is built as an offline arcade game: you chain numbers together to score points, and every part of that loop — your progress, your best score, your settings — happens locally on your own phone or tablet. The only data that leaves your device is the anonymous analytics and crash reporting described in section 4, which you can switch off.
Addrenaline does not ask for, capture, or process:
The app has no server of its own. We never sell data, and none of it is used for advertising.
To remember your progress between sessions, Addrenaline saves a small amount of gameplay data directly on your device, using the operating system's standard local-storage APIs. None of it leaves your device unless you explicitly choose to share it (section 5).
| What | Why it's kept |
|---|---|
| Best score, XP, currency, achievements | So your progress carries over between sessions |
| Recent match/session history | Powers the in-app stats and streak tracking |
| Settings (sound, haptics, accessibility, reminders, analytics) | Remembers how you like to play |
Uninstalling the app deletes this data along with it. It is not backed up to any service we operate.
Addrenaline uses Google Firebase (Analytics, Crashlytics and Cloud Messaging), provided by Google LLC, to understand how the game is played and to keep it stable. This data is tied to a random app-instance identifier generated by Firebase — not to your name, email, or advertising ID.
| What | Why |
|---|---|
| Gameplay events — screens visited, buttons tapped, runs started/finished, scores, modes, power-ups and hints used, achievements, in-game coins earned/spent | Balancing difficulty and improving the game |
| Device & app info — model, OS version, app version, language, approximate country/region | Knowing which devices and versions to support |
| Crash reports — stack traces and device state at the time of a crash | Finding and fixing bugs |
| Push token (only if you allow notifications) | Delivering game news and event notifications |
Your choices: turn off Share Usage Analytics in Settings to stop analytics and crash reporting. Daily challenge / streak reminders are scheduled on your device and can be turned off with Daily Reminders in Settings. All notifications can also be disabled in your phone's system settings. Google processes Firebase data under its own terms: see Firebase privacy & security and the Google Privacy Policy.
How long it's kept: analytics event data is kept for 14 months and then deleted automatically; aggregated reports (totals such as "runs played per day") contain no per-player data and may be kept longer. Crash reports are kept for 90 days. The push token is deleted when you uninstall the app or it expires.
The app requests very few device permissions, and none of them are used to collect personal data:
| Permission | What it's actually used for |
|---|---|
| Internet | Sending anonymous analytics / crash reports and receiving push notifications (section 4) |
| Notifications | Daily challenge / streak reminders and game news — optional, asked only after your first game |
| Network status | Lets the app show an offline indicator — reads connectivity only, not traffic |
| Vibration / haptics | Powers tap feedback during play |
Addrenaline integrates no advertising SDKs. Its only third-party service is Google Firebase, described in section 4. Separately, the app stores themselves — Google Play and the Apple App Store — automatically collect standard install, update, and diagnostic information (like crash logs or download counts) under their own privacy policies, separately from anything the app does. That collection is described in each store's own privacy terms, not this one.
Addrenaline does not knowingly collect personal information from children. The app contains no chat, no user-generated content, and no way to enter personal information, and the analytics it sends are anonymous and used only to improve the game — never for advertising.
Your progress stays on your device, protected by its lock screen and OS-level app sandboxing. Analytics and crash data are sent to Firebase over encrypted (HTTPS) connections and stored under Google's security practices. There is no account to be breached and no server of our own holding your information.
Depending on where you live — for example in the European Economic Area, the UK or California — you may have the right to access, correct, delete or object to the processing of data about you, and to complain to your local data-protection authority. We process analytics and crash data on the basis of our legitimate interest in keeping the game stable and improving it, and you can object at any time by turning off Share Usage Analytics. We do not sell or share personal information for advertising.
To delete your data: uninstall the app, which removes everything stored on your device and resets the Firebase identifier, so nothing new is linked to your old data; what was already collected expires under the retention periods in section 4. Because that data isn't tied to your name or email, we usually can't look it up from your email address alone — but write to us (section 12) and we will help with any request we can.
If Addrenaline ever adds a feature that changes what's described here — for example, an optional online leaderboard — we'll update this page and change the effective date above before that feature ships. Check back here if you want the current version; we won't make a material change without reflecting it on this page first.
